About Maggie LeBlanc
“Being a mother changes the way you hear politics. You stop hearing talking points and start living and hearing the worries families carry. Can we afford a doctor? Will our schools have what they need? Will our kids be safe? And…will they have a future here?”
Maggie LeBlanc is a lifelong Kansan and proud resident of Wichita’s District 100, running for State Representative to make life more affordable for Kansas families.
Her commitment to service started early. In high school, Maggie became involved in grassroots activism after attending the 2005 presidential inauguration. She went on to found and lead a local group focused on both peace and supporting service members, organizing vigils, protests, and community outreach.
Her faith shapes her work. Guided by her Catholic values, Maggie has stayed active with organizations like The Peace Center, Pax Christi, and Equality Kansas—focusing on compassion, dignity, and building stronger communities.
She understands the pressure on working families. As a mother and real estate professional, Maggie has seen how rising property taxes, housing costs, healthcare expenses, and student debt are making it harder to get ahead—especially for first-time homebuyers.
She believes leadership means showing up. Maggie volunteers directly with unhoused neighbors and helps women transitioning out of domestic violence and homelessness find stability and essential resources.
She’s focused on practical solutions. Maggie is running to lower property taxes, make housing more affordable, strengthen public schools and special education, and ensure access to affordable healthcare.
And she’ll be a voice for Kansas families. Maggie is committed to fighting for people who feel overlooked and delivering results that make everyday life more affordable.
